I’ve been working in parallel and distributed computing for some time. My main experiences are with C, python, MPI (Open MPI and the former Sun ClusterTools MPI). Unix (RHEL 7, and Solaris 11) and many different development tools.

My recent background was working with New York Genome Center’s pipeline processing system. I’ve debugged various genomic tools written in all sorts of languages C++, Java, R, Python, Bash, Perl and others. Made sure the system kept up and processing samples and added new features and pipelines to it.

I like woodworking, brewing beer, fixing stuff around the house and raising my 2 daughters.
